Brandon McKinnon
Brandon started lacrosse at the age of 5. He has played in Burnaby his
entire career. Brandon was part of Provincial Championship teams from
novice to Midget. He has played the last two seasons under coaches DalMonte
and Lough for the Burnaby Jr. "A" Lakers and played in the
Minto Cup both seasons, winning the prized trophy in 2002. Brandon is
a Vancouver
Raven
draft pick and currently works for Johnstone-McKinnon Demolition.
Kevin Olson
Kevin has played lacrosse for 17 years, all of them in Burnaby.
During his minor career, Kevin was a part of numerous Provincial Championship
teams from Peewee to Midget. In 1999, he began playing at the Junior
level with the Burnaby Lakers, where he participated in 5 Minto Cups,
winning the prize twice in 2000 and 2002. Kevin was honoured by being
named a First Team All-Star three years in a row (2001, 2002, and 2003).
In each year he led his team in scoring and in 2002 he won the Junior
Scoring Title. Kevin was chosen 12th overall in the first round of the
2003 NLL draft by your Vancouver Ravens. He is currently playing with
the Ravens and is always a scoring threat when he's on the floor.
